MAR 23 UPDATE LOG

Hello, Warlords! 

We will update the game during our maintenance on March 23rd, which will last for 3 hours and run between 12:30-15:30 (UTC+8). After the maintenance we will give all players 8,000 Bronze Coins, 300 Honor, and 15 Unit Medals as compensation for any inconvenience caused. Be sure to arrange your time accordingly.

The update will contain the following:

 

I. EVENT NOTICES

1. The Naraka Trials

       

      The City Council takes peace for granted now that Conqueror's City has remained peaceful ever since the Tyrant's assault. Yet, peace is always fleeting and danger draws ever closer.

       Mysterious rifts have begun to appear across the land and reports of bandits attacking settlements increase by the day. Yet, the leaders of Conqueror's City feel safe within their fortress walls. They simply send scouting teams to such rifts or bandit-ridden areas every once in a while to keep up appearances.

      Yet, one day a rift appeared above Conqueror's City. The rift grew ever greater until it seemed to swallow the sky howl. Buildings could be seen within bearing the style of Naraka, heralding the trials to come. Warlord, gather your forces and prepare to meet the challenge.

 

        Reports of mysterious rifts are spreading. A giant rift has even appeared above Conqueror's City itself, and within it, a whole new world is reflected. The City Council has dispatched scouts to investigate but none has yet to return. The Auctioneers are now recruiting Warlords from all across the land to launch further investigations.

Complete the first stage of quests to receive: Treatise x2 and Artificer's Stone x20.

These quests are available from Mar 23 through Apr 13 (until maintenance).

 

The Auctioneers have set up additional transport routes to Conqueror's City to help alleviate the crisis. Talk to the Couriers of Daicheng or Haojing to quickly travel to Conqueror's City. Should you need supplies, you can return to these cities from the Courier in Conqueror's City.

 

2. Store Stock Adjustments

1. [Weekly Schematics Pack] has been renamed into [Weekly Weapon Schematics Pack].

 

2. Added a new [Weekly Armor Schematics Pack] which contains the following:

Rare Armor Schematic x5

Huge Supply Crate x5

Cost: 300 Sovereigns (weekly buy limit of 5)

 

3. New Pack: [Daily Artillery Component Pack]

Contains random artillery or artillery components. Items obtained within are bound.

 

Drop Rates:

Epic Artillery: 7%; Rare Artillery: 34%; Epic Artillery Component (1-2): 21%; Rare Artillery Component (1-5): 38%.

Price: 30 Sovereigns each (daily buy limit of 10)

 

 

3. Warfare Challenge Pack Rotation

The [Blood of the Empire] and [Expedition] Challenge Packs will be taken off the shelves under Store - Warfare Packs, and the [Snowstorm] and [Northmen] packs will become available.

Available from Mar 23 through Apr 6 (until maintenance).

 

II. ADJUSTMENTS

1. Unit Changes

Siphonaris

1. Hitbox size of all flames increased by 40%.

2. Adjusted the targeting algorithm during [free attacks] and flame effects:

  a. Now searches for enemies within 18m (was 12m). A single enemy can be locked on to by 3 Siphonaris. Flames now cover a greater area when up against more foes.

  b. Now instead targets the enemy's torso with their flames to reduce the chance of flames not reaching far enough. Fires straight ahead when enemies are near to ensure that their attacks miss less.

  c. Attack interval reduced by 26%, granting better-sustained fire.

  d. Initial flame speed increased by 35% and it drops 27% faster. Flames now reach 18m and the trajectory looks better.

 

Sword & Shield Infantry

Improved the hitbox of sword & shield units' charge skills, reducing the chance of these missing completely.

 

Imperial Spear Guards
Attack damage during [Cover Commander] increased by 30% and heroes within the effective range will take 24% reduced damage from enemy units.

Men-at-Arms
[Shield Rush] is now better at blocking [Brace] and [Stand Firm] attacks and now deals 38% more damage against units in [Brace] and [Stand Firm].
Improved the AI's pathing logic of [Cover Commander] so that they attack enemies near the hero and avoid narrow terrain.

Palace Guards
[Shield Rush] is now better at blocking [Brace] and [Stand Firm] attacks and now deals 33% more damage against units in [Brace] and [Stand Firm].

Banner Guards
[Charge] is now better at blocking [Brace] and [Stand Firm] attacks and now deals 21% more damage against units in [Brace] and [Stand Firm].

 

Pike Infantry

The Pike Militia, Imperial Pike Guards and Fortebraccio Pikemen now have [Brace] at a higher priority while the formation orders have a lower priority.

 

Cavalry Units

Improved the hitbox of melee cavalry and the Coutiliers' charge skills, reducing the chance of these missing completely.

 

2. Other Changes

1. Improved equipment tips. Tips should now go off-screen less.

2. You can now press Esc to exit the Bard's dialog.

 

III. BUG FIXES

1. Added a description of applicable units to unit-exclusive doctrines from the Eternal season.

2. Fixed issues where some Bow, Short Bow, Musket and Chain Dart & Scimitar skills didn't trigger the intended invulnerability windows.
