DEC 8 UPDATE LOG

Hello, Warlords! 

We will update the game during our maintenance on December 8th, which will last for 3 hours and run between 12:30-15:30 (UTC+8). After the maintenance we will give all players 8,000 Bronze Coins, 300 Honor, and 15 Unit Medals as compensation for any inconvenience caused. Be sure to arrange your time accordingly.

The update will contain the following:

 

I. Blade of the Sands: New Weapon Launching - Chain Dart & Scimitar

a. Skills

Leap and Slash

- Jump up and slash downward with the Scimitar, causing slashing damage.

- Hitting an enemy with [Stinging Strike] reduces the cooldown by 1 second.

Scorpion’s Snare

- Jump forward, choke the first enemy hero you encounter, turn to the back of the target and attack it, causing piercing damage.

- Enemies hit have their slashing defense reduced by 5% for 2 seconds.

- [Leap and Slash], [Dune Blast] and [Trap Prey] reduce the cooldown by 1 second.

- Hitting an enemy with [Stinging Strike] reduces the cooldown by 1 second.

Sandwalk

- Throw a smoke bomb on the spot, causing blunt damage to surrounding enemies, and jump back a short distance.

- Slow enemies movement speed by 30%.

- Remove "Dazed" and "Knocked Down" effects.

Trap Prey (Ultimate Ability)

- Throw chains at enemy, causing piercing damage, and pull yourself to the target after hooking.

- Trap Prey can be used when mounted after unlocking the second stage of Chain Dart & Scimitars seasonal challenges.

Stinging Strike

- Consume stamina and throw 3 darts to the fan-shaped area in front, causing piercing damage.

- Hold S + Skill Button to leap backward and throw darts.

Combat Dismount (Dismount Skill)

- Leap forward from your mount and slashes downward, dealing damage.

- Hold S + Skill Button to leap backward off your mount without attacking.

 

b. Specialization:

i. Enhanced Leap and Slash

1. Ashfrost I: Slashing damage multiplier +2%.

2. Rampage I: Bonus slashing damage +20.

3. Ashfrost II: Slashing damage multiplier +2%.

4. Rampage II: Bonus slashing damage +20.

5. Ashfrost III: Slashing damage multiplier +2%.

6. Concussion: Enemies hit are stunned for 0.5 seconds.

ii. Enhanced Scorpion's Snare

1. Grievous Strikes I: Piercing damage multiplier +2%.

2. Cut to the Quick II: Bonus piercing damage +30.

3. Grievous Strikes II: Piercing damage multiplier +2%.

4. Cut to the Quick II: Bonus piercing damage +30.

5. Haste: Cooldown reduced by 2 seconds.

6. Hoarfrost: Increase the ability to reduces the enemy's slashing defense by 30%.

iii. Enhanced Dune Blast

1. Sightless I: Slow effect increased by 5%.

2. Sightless II: Slow effect increased by 5%.

3. Sightless III: Slow effect increased by 5%.

4. Take Flight: Backward leap distance increased by 25%.

5. Sightless IV: Slow effect increased by 5%.

6. Keep Your Distance: Movement can no longer be blocked.

iv. Enhanced Trap Prey

1. Warden: Hitting an enemy increases damage by 10% for 5 seconds.

2. Fatality: Damage increased by 10%.

3. Blade Burst: Cooldown reduced by 3 seconds.

4. Mire: Reduces the enemy's movement speed by 40% for 3 seconds.

v. Enhanced Stinging Strike

1. Stinging Strike I: Piercing damage multiplier +2%.

2. Stinging Strike II: Piercing armor penetration multiplier +2%.

3. Stinging Strike III: Piercing damage multiplier +2%.

4. Stinging Strike IV: Piercing armor penetration multiplier +2%.

vi. Enhanced Sandwalk

1. Sandwalk I: Increases movement speed by 6% for 5 seconds.

2. Sandwalk II: Increases movement speed by 9% for 5 seconds.

3. Sandwalk III: Increases movement speed by 12% for 5 seconds.

4. Sandwalk IV: Increases movement speed by 15% for 5 seconds.

C. Season Runes:

i. [Sandstorm]: [Stinging Strike]'s damage increased by 6% and block break by 30%.

ii. [Dense Fog]: Spreads rock dust while retreating with [Dune Blast], reducing the accuracy of ranged units.

iii. [Rockbreaker]: [Scorpion's Snare]'s damage increased by 10% and the basic slashing defense reduction effect increased by 10% (was 5%) for 2 seconds. Activating the Hoarfrost specialization increases the slashing defense reduction effect from 30% to 60%.

 

II. EVENT NOTICES

1. Brand-New Unit Sharing Available for a Limited Time

a. House members with a rank of Noble or higher can now add up to 3 units with Lv.15 or higher to a shared unit pool. Any member of the house can then borrow these units for battle. (The same goes for the Imperial Restorationists, where Veteran members can share units)

b. A player that adds a unit to the shared pool cannot use/edit that unit while it is being shared. There is a 6-hour cooldown for sharing units, but units can be unshared at any time during that time. This does not affect the cooldown.

c. When a shared unit is hired and the hiree earns a rating of C or better, the unit's owner will receive a Champion Gift (contains 3 Paragon Silvers and 1 Paragon Gold). A player can earn this reward up to 3 times per day.

d. The shared unit pool must contain at least 10 units before other members can borrow units from it. Using shared units does not consume kits.

e. House members can use 3 units from the shared unit pool per day. You get access to 3 random units from the shared unit pool in the pre-deployment menu during matchmaking. While random, high-star units take priority and appear if possible. You can choose any number of units to borrow, but you still cannot exceed your leadership cap. Shares reset at midnight server time.

f. Units added to the shared unit pool are affected by season restrictions. Shared units are only available for Siege Battles, Field Battles, Free Battles and the Champion Trove.

g. The event runs from Dec 8 (after maintenance) through Dec 22 (until maintenance).

 

 

 

1. Champion Trove is On! Get Exclusive Scorpio Weapon Skin!

a. Adjustments:

i. You now only need 3 wins to earn a Gold Chest (was 6). The [Horn of Victory] item has been removed.

ii. The event will be played on the [Siege Battle] maps Kurak Castle, Areaktol or Heilung Fjord.

b. You can access the event by navigating to Matchmaking (J) and choosing [Events]. You can check the availability times in-game after the maintenance.

c. The event runs from Dec 8 (after maintenance) through Dec 22 (until maintenance).

 

2. FREE Champion Troves, Pure Spirits & Epic Equipment Schematics

a. You may earn Paragon Silver while matchmaking for Siege Battles. You may earn either Paragon Silver or Gold when opening win-streak chests obtained from the Champion Trove event. These currencies can be exchanged for Pure Spirits, Treatises or Epic Equipment Schematics.

b. Event runs from Dec 8 to 22 (until maintenance). The Exchange Menu will be available until Dec 29 (until maintenance).

III. ADJUSTMENTS

1. [Deploy & Defend] Changes

a. You now earn 1 [Doctrine Reagent Box] for each win, and can earn up to 2 per day.

b. Made changes to the enemies, structure and what units can be brought and deployed.

c. New mechanic: You can now complete map events to gain help during the map.

 

a. Unit changes: Increased the Shenji Grenadiers' skill cooldown; Rattan Marksmen now always shoot poisoned bolts; adjusted the unit sizes for multiple units.

b. Added a Fusion III quest. Take part in Deploy & Defend to earn a Doctrine Reagent reward. Complete Fusion II to unlock this quest.

2. Free Houses Changes

a. A house can now have up to 30 nobles.

3. Imperial Restorationists Changes

a. Added the Veteran rank (bestowed by the Imperial Restorationists). This rank is equal to a noble of a free house.

4. World Map Changes

a. AI warlords will no longer be added per default when marches are initiated to fiefs of non-player factions.

5. [Siege Battle] Map Pool Changes

a. Added [La Grande Gloire]

6. [La Grande Gloire] Changes

a. Changed the terrain structure of the area between the fort at A and the monastery.

 

 

 

a. Adjusted the placements and numbers of some artillery.

b. Fixed a terrain issue where there was a small chance for players to get stuck.

c. Improved performance on the map.

7. Jangjus Changes

a. Fixed an issue where the Jangjus had a small chance to not follow movement commands.

b. Somewhat reduced the damage decay based on range for flying daggers.

c. Increased base ammo by 50.

d. Increased the duration of the [Serrated Blades] and [Throw Daggers]' buffs to 3 seconds (was 2.5).

e. Improved their skill descriptions.

8. Auxiliary Unit Changes

a. Changed Auxiliary Points to Auxiliary Orders. You get 6 Auxiliary Orders per week, and an extra 4 if you have a premium account. Auxiliary Orders reset on Mondays.

b. Recruitable auxiliary units reset on Mondays, or you can use Auxiliary Orders to reset them manually. The first such reset every week is free.

c. You can receive up to 3 extra Auxiliary Orders by completing daily quests. Unused Auxiliary Orders reset and are removed on Mondays.

d. Auxiliary units you recruit can be used for up to 3 days, after which they will become unavailable. The units you recruited the previous week become unavailable with the refresh on Mondays.

e. Seasonal units are no longer available as auxiliary units.

9. [Areaktol] Changes

a. Added 2 minutes to the initial map timer. Changed the location of the attackers' default spawn point.

 

IV. VERSION IMPROVEMENTS

1. Fusion

a. When fusion, you can now see the chance for this fusion to grant a Doctrine Reagent, T1, T2, T3, T4 or T5 Doctrine.

 

V. BUG FIXES & OTHERS

1. Fixed an issue where the [Deploy Caltrops] of the Musket would sometimes retain their effect after leaving the area.

2. Fixed an issue where the bow rune [Bone Piercer] would sometimes take effect on the wrong target. Added a charges indicator for basic attacks at Full-Charge and when the next Full-Charge ignores defenses to the status bar.

3. Fixed an issue where the Longsword & Shield rune [Shared Fate] would sometimes trigger multiple times in a short period of time.

4. Fixed an issue where players using pathfinding in Continopolis could cross the gates.

5. Improved the descriptions of some runes to make them clearer.

6. Removing the [Rattan Poison V] doctrine now requires 5 Doctrine Water.

7. Changed the skill description of the Longsword & Shield hero's [Knightly Vows] to reflect the recent changes.

8. Fixed an issue where rolling immediately after casting the Longsword & Shield skills [Mercy of Heaven] or [Knightly Vows] would prevent the skills from taking effect.

9. Fixed an issue where equipment affix attributes took effect in the Deploy & Defend mode.
