III. Season Map
The new seasonal map Linwu Fortress will become available after the July 29th update. It will be available every day between 12:00-14:00 and 18:00-20:00.
Background Info:
The Qian Dynasty's power has been waning for the past hundred years. The Taurean Empire is raiding merchant roads and has pushed back the defenders all the way to their last fortress—Linwu Fortress. Now with the harsh winter gone, the Taureans attack in an attempt to claim Linwu Fortress. The Qian's army is in furor and has vowed to never retreat. A large army awaits beyond the walls and a battle is imminent.

Map Features:
Linwu Fortress rests to the south of a cliff, with enemies coming from all other directions. While the Dynasty has been fighting in the northwest for many a year, the commander of Linwu Fortress has with the help of the people reinforced its walls to withstand the Taurean's cavalry. Their armies have made camp outside, laying siege to Linwu Fortress, and they have even attempted to enter it by digging new tunnels.
Linwu Fortress has gates on its southern and eastern sides. Fortunately for its defenders, the Taureans brought neither siege towers nor battering rams. However, the gates are still susceptible to attacks from heroes and other artilleries. They may also attempt to sneak in via tunnels and open the gates from within.
Three tunnels exits can be found within the fortress, and should the attackers be clever they may surge out from a dry well or house and take the defenders unawares. Each exit has its own strategic importance, and upon using one it is possible to head directly for a flag or supply point, assume control over one of the gates, or roam the fortress looking for opportunities.

Its outer walls have been reinforced with two layers, and the A flag rests by the wall's core section. After years of skirmishes the outer wall is heavily damaged, and the hastily repaired wall might serve as an entry point for attackers. By destroying the repaired section with artilleries, creating a breach, it is possible to gain direct entry to the flag point. Atop the wall there is also a supply point of great strategic significance. Ladders are available on all three sides of the wall, which coupled with the tunnels, provide a plethora of possible points of entry for clever attackers. Perhaps to disrupt the defenders' formations, claim vital supply points, cut off reinforcements, and thereby claim A.
Most dwellings within the desert feature flat rooftops. Buildings in Linwu Fortress lie close together and so rooftops may serve as passageways or even places where battle takes place. Taking advantage of the intricate terrain makes it possible to launch terribly effective ambushes. Having lost A, the defenders may choose to strike back at their attackers from among the buildings, and whittle down their forces on the streets, halting their advance.

Having claimed A, the attackers may continue pressing their advance, with both the left- and right-hand paths leading to supply points. The terrain slants upward from there, with the base's flags being situated beneath a beacon tower. The tower's passageways in either direction are connected with wooden structures upon which soldiers may walk. Cavalry though can sweep in from nearby areas to harass. The defenders may by setting up barriers at certain key passageways gradually gain the upper hand to ultimately conquer their attackers.
IV. World Map Adjustments
A new World Map system will be taken online with this update on the Lotus Ash Sea server.
Warlords in the same region but on different channels can see and interact with each other.
To ensure that this feature's launch is as stable as possible, we will be implementing this on a single server to start with. We will be making it available to all servers once stable. Check future notices for more info.
Keep an eye on coming notices whether this applies to the Saturday's Territory War.
