2. Event Content
1. New Aztec Season Map - City on the Lake is Live!
Background:
Above the lake, a city floats in the center of the water, surrounded by the turbulent waves of Lake Texcoco. Crisscrossing waterways carve the blocks into a chessboard, and two towering Great Temples stand side by side in the city. This is the capital of the Aztec Empire. Sacrifices are escorted up the long steps of the pyramids, offered to the gods in plain sight to seek power. Blood and drumbeats are the chips on the scale of victory, with both sides raising the stakes. Which way will the scale tip in this battle?

Map Introduction:
-
City on the Lake is mainly divided into three areas: the Canal Area, the Temple Square Front, and the Great Temple Square.
-
The Canal Area features waterways and bridges, containing two Banner points: [Point A] and [Point B]. The Temple Square Front features the [Point C] Banner, located on high ground with complex surrounding terrain. The Great Temple Square is vast, with the [Base] Banner situated in the center.
-
The Canal Area has two Banner points, [Point A] and [Point B]. Capturing either Banner will unlock the next area. Attackers and defenders will need to contest [Point A] and [Point B] back and forth, testing both sides' observation and troop mobilization skills.
-
The Canal Area features two bridges that can be destroyed or constructed, with construction taking a certain amount of time. One bridge is near the defenders, connecting [Point A] and [Point B], and is fully constructed at the start of the match, favoring the defenders' troop mobilization between the two points. The other bridge is near the attackers, connecting their spawn area to [Point B], and is unconstructed at the start, favoring the attackers' troop mobilization when built.
-
Constructing bridges that benefit your side and destroying those that benefit the enemy, while capitalizing on construction time differences, is the key to gaining an advantage in the Canal Area.
-
The terrain around the Banner in the Temple Square Front is highly varied. Attackers can utilize the two-story structures to strike the defenders' Supply Point in the rear or take narrow paths to launch surprise flanking attacks. Defenders must leverage the terrain and Artillery advantages to intercept the attackers, staying vigilant against flanking enemies.
-
The Great Temple Square is spacious and offers two main paths: the front gate and the side gate.
-
Attackers can attempt a frontal assault or use Cavalry to flank through the side gate. Once inside the square, the wide terrain is highly advantageous for Cavalry and Bring The Storm.
-
Defenders should maximize their defense at the gates, depleting the enemy's Strength and stalling for time to secure Victory.

Special Mechanics:
In City on the Lake, offering sacrifices to the gods allows you to request their descent to assist in battle. Every player starts the match with [Divine Favor]. [Divine Favor] naturally regenerates and can also be acquired through kills, causing Damage, or through Damage Taken.
When [Divine Favor] is fully charged, you may select one of three gods to descend upon the battlefield:
-
Descent of the Lord of the Fifth Sun: Centered on yourself, the sun slowly descends. Upon landing, it deals one instance of Burning Damage to surrounding enemies, applies a Buff to Allies, and grants attacks a stackable Burning effect for a short time.
-
Descent of the Lord of Rain: Generates healing waters centered on yourself, instantly restoring Health once for surrounding Allies and removing Control effects. For a period afterward, it continuously provides minor Regeneration to Allies. After a brief delay, the healing waters erupt, providing one massive instance of Health Regeneration to surrounding Allies.
-
Descent of the Lord of the Night: Creates a small black hole at a specified location, applying Slowed to enemies who step into the area. After a brief delay, the black hole erupts, pulling enemies toward its center and dealing minor Damage.

3. System Modify and Optimization
1. New Equipment Inheritance System is Live!
System Access:
Armourer
System Introduction:
-
Equipment inheritance can transfer the Attributes affixes of old and new purple Schematics to the target Equipment of the new purple Schematics;
-
After inheritance, the original Attributes affixes of the target Equipment will be overwritten, keeping only the Attributes affixes you Acquire from inheritance; Blessing affixes are not affected by inheritance;
-
There is no limit to the number of inheritances. The same piece of Equipment can be used as the target Equipment for inheritance multiple times, and the same Equipment can also be used as the material Equipment for inheritance multiple times;
-
The target Equipment after inheritance will become unbound only when the consumed Schematics, material Equipment, and target Equipment are all in an unbound state;
-
After inheritance, the material Equipment will become bound;
-
The material Equipment and target Equipment selected during inheritance must be of the same Weapon Type and must be Equipment that has undergone Reforging. All Weapons you Acquire from Reforging Epic Schematics can be used as material Equipment, but only Weapons from Reforging new Epic Weapon Schematics can be used as target Equipment (Weapon Schematics you Acquire from the Schematic Selection Box are considered new Epic Weapon Schematics).
-
The Quantity of inheritable affixes during inheritance is determined by the Equipment quality and the number of Blessing affixes:
-
Epic quality Equipment can have up to 4 affixes, and Legendary quality Equipment can have up to 6 affixes;
-
Through the inheritance System, the total number of Equipment affixes (the total number of Attributes affixes and skill affixes) can reach the affix Quantity limit of the Local quality, but it cannot exceed the limit. For example, a Legendary Equipment with 2 skill affixes can inherit a maximum of 4 Attributes affixes;
-
When inheriting 1 to 6 Attributes affixes, the Quantity of new purple Schematics consumed is 3/6/9/10/11/12 respectively;
-
-
There is an affix loss during inheritance. The Attributes affixes you Acquire on the target Equipment will lose 8% of their Attributes values based on the original Basic;
-
Whether the Attributes affixes can undergo Honing after inheritance will be re-evaluated based on the Attributes value of the inherited affix and the limit of the corresponding Attributes Type of the target Equipment. Only affixes whose Attributes value after the loss meets the Honing threshold corresponding to the target Equipment's Attributes limit can undergo Honing.
