A New Weapon System Arrives in the Three Kingdoms
06/04/2026

Greetings, Warlords.
In our previous reveals, we discussed the new units and the chaotic world unfolding in the Conqueror's Blade: Three Kingdoms update.
As more content comes to light, you've likely noticed: this is far more than a thematic update. From the new world to a brand-new Faction War system, new units, and upcoming weapons, Conqueror's Blade is expanding on an unprecedented scale.

You All Saw the Twin Swords

Following our recent teaser, we expected the focus to be on the new map, the new world, or the units. Instead, the community flooded us with questions about the "twin swords," with many pausing and zooming in on the trailer for a closer look.
No more guessing. In the world of Conqueror's Blade: Three Kingdoms, we are introducing an entirely new weapon system featuring four fresh weapons: Twin Swords, Crossbow, One-Handed Sword, and Halberd.

Twin Swords

For those familiar with the lore of the Three Kingdoms, the Twin Swords might immediately bring to mind Liu Bei's legendary pair.
Unlike the wide-swinging Glaive or Pike, the Twin Swords offer faster startups, agile mobility, and lethal close-quarters dueling. They excel at finding openings, cutting through lines, and securing kills. When enemy formations falter, the Twin Swords taste blood. For those used to heavy sweeps or pike charges, this will be a fundamentally different, high-speed thrill.

Crossbow

The crossbow is iconic to the Three Kingdoms. In Conqueror's Blade, it debuts as a highly flexible tactical weapon. Unlike the Bow, which relies on charged, precise long-range strikes, the Crossbow shines in crowd control and utility. When enemies mass or charge, it disrupts their advance, creating counterattack windows. In drawn-out attrition, it provides sustained fire support. Its value lies in tactical versatility rather than pure burst damage. In complex Faction Wars — skirmishes, intercepts, escorts, and massive sieges — the Crossbow will dictate the flow of combat, offering a completely fresh take on ranged warfare.

One-Handed Sword

The one-handed sword is a staple of the Three Kingdoms. Many of you might already picture those legendary heroes drawing their swords in the heat of battle.
Before the Battle of Red Cliffs, Sun Quan slashed a desk in half to show his resolve — a classic display of leadership.
On the battlefield, the One-Handed Sword brings this crisp, decisive melee flow. It's about finding the rhythm in messy close-quarters combat: hold your ground, spot the opening, and strike.
As grand charges break down into brutal hand-to-hand brawls, this weapon offers razor-sharp agility and seamless transitions between offense and defense.

Halberd

The name alone carries the martial weight of the Three Kingdoms. Lu Bu's legendary Sky Piercing Halberd is the ultimate symbol of battlefield oppression.
Compared to the agility of the Twin Swords, the control of the Crossbow, and the balanced melee of the One-Handed Sword, the Halberd is a heavy weapon built to break formations. Its long reach and versatile crescent blade make it a dominating presence in the thick of a melee. Wielding this heavy polearm will let you experience what it means to take on multiple heroes at once. Tear open the enemy's weak points, and charge.

Classic Weapons, Reimagined

Beyond the new arsenal, familiar weapons will receive fresh visual and thematic upgrades to fit the era.

Shortsword & Shield

The most reliable vanguard. Holding the line and breaking enemy charges, it perfectly mirrors the fiercely loyal infantry guards of the era.
"The line holds as long as we stand" — this is their ultimate creed.

Pike

In Three Kingdoms lore, the pike is inherently heroic.
Zhao Yun charging through Changban... The pike is always at the center of the fray.
Its powerful charge and penetration capabilities will shine brighter than ever in these new battles.

Glaive

If one weapon defines this era, it's the Glaive. Guan Yu and his Green Dragon Crescent Glaive are inseparable from Three Kingdoms history. It embodies the unmatched heroism of warlords carving their names into history.

Bow

The bow is never a mere prop in these stories. From veteran Huang Zhong's deadly accuracy to Lu Bu's legendary marksmanship, "deciding victory from a hundred paces" is a staple of Three Kingdoms warfare. With new environments like passes, massive gates, alleyways, and world skirmishes, the Bow will find critical new roles. It rewards patience, precision, and perfect battlefield awareness.
