Far More Than Just Three 'New Units' | Three Kingdoms Season Units Revealed05/29/2026
Greetings, Warlords!
We have been closely following your anticipation, discussions, and passion for the Three Kingdoms season recently. Over the next two weeks, we will gradually unveil major updates for the new season, along with the brand-new Three Kingdoms Territory War gameplay.
Today, we are bringing you the first wave of exciting news — the new units for the Three Kingdoms season!

White Plume Guards — "Shu's Finest"

Compared to widely celebrated legendary generals like Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, and Zhao Yun, historical records of the White Plume Guards are relatively scarce. Later generations mostly regard them as the elite personal guards serving under Liu Bei, undertaking the duty of protecting the commander-in-chief and securing the central army. They are often considered one of the most crucial final lines of defense in the Shu army — true elites of the Three Kingdoms era.
The word "Er" (plume) in their name is commonly associated with white bird feathers, animal fur, or feather ornaments used on headgear and military decorations. In ancient military arrays, such adornments were not merely cosmetic touches, but also symbols of rank and honor.
Here is a sneak peek at keywords for you:
"The Mandate of Han Endures"
Feel free to make bold guesses about their skills!

Yellow Turban Chanters — "The Azure Sky is Dead; The Yellow Sky Will Rise"

Led by Zhang Jiao at the end of the Eastern Han dynasty, the Yellow Turbans differed from traditional factional forces. Their most unique trait was that they were not organized by noble families, the government, or the regular military system.
At their peak, followers of the Way of Supreme Peace spread across eight provinces, numbering in the hundreds of thousands. This unprecedented scale made the Yellow Turbans one of the most impactful forces in the late Eastern Han period.
The Yellow Turbans predominantly wore plain yellow cloth, donning yellow headscarves to identify themselves, with only a few clad in armor. Compared to the uniform armor of regular armies, their attire, weapons, and stance bore the distinct marks of the Way of Supreme Peace, hinting at a combat style far different from traditional military forces.

Tiger and Leopard Cavalry — "The Fierce Elite of Wei"

The Tiger and Leopard Cavalry is one of the most iconic elite cavalry forces of Wei during the Three Kingdoms period.
Founded by Cao Cao and commanded by his kinsmen, this unit long served as the core military force under his banner. They were not only tasked with frontline assaults but also acted as Cao Cao's vital personal guards.
During Cao Cao's campaign to unify the north, the Tiger and Leopard Cavalry frequently appeared in pivotal battles.
Whether launching a surprise attack at the Battle of White Wolf Mountain, pursuing Liu Bei at Changban, the Tiger and Leopard Cavalry consistently demonstrated exceptional high-speed mobility and devastating battlefield power.

This is Just the Beginning
If you thought this was all, the real surprises have only just begun.
This time, built upon the brand-new Three Kingdoms Territory War gameplay, we will be introducing more than just a few new Units. Rather, we are bringing a relatively complete Three Kingdoms Unit system to this world — more authentic units that truly belong to that era will be unveiled one after another.
To enhance the immersion of the Three Kingdoms Territory War, we have redesigned a large number of Units. From armor and weapons to voice lines and formations, every detail has been meticulously polished around the Three Kingdoms era to present a more authentic battlefield experience.
Take a guess, Warlords:
How many different units can you spot?
