The Dark Lord Returns — the Halloween Revel is about to Begin!

Guardians, the triumph of last Halloween is still fresh in our minds. Beneath the blood moon over Heilung Fjord, we stood shoulder to shoulder with other valiant and at last felled the returning Dark Lord. We believed that hard-won victory had brought us lasting peace.

We were wrong. Darkness that has festered for millennia within the seal does not fade so easily. The binding weakens; the Dark Lord's minions gather in the shadows, awaiting "that day."

And now, the day of vengeance has come. The Dark Lord's most loyal follower — the terrifying figure clad in [Pallbearer] armor — has, on the eve of this year's Halloween, succeeded in weakening the seal deep beneath Heilung Fjord.

 

The Dark Lord is awakening! An endless spectral legion is poised to surge like a tide and sweep across our world once more.

 

But the Dark Lord is not the only one who has awaited "that day." This time, the Guardians stand ready, with more than a few "surprises" prepared for the forces of evil — and the indomitable will of the first Guardians of ancient ages quietly stirs in their veins…

 

As light and darkness intertwine, the Dark Lord's threat may never truly fade. Only by remembering every struggle, sacrifice, and victory can we stand unafraid against the encroaching night. Thus, the greatest artisans of our age, inspired by the paladin who first sealed the Dark Lord in the distant past, have poured their mastery into forging a legendary Longsword & Shield.

Its name is Carolingian Radiance.

This Longsword & Shield bears the immortal oath of the first heroes: "Let my body be the shield that shelters all; let my heart be the flame that burns away the dark." It waits for a new hero to inherit that unyielding will.

 

Guardians, the Dark Follower's plot nears fruition, and the Dark Lord's mad laughter already echoes across Heilung Fjord. Rally your forces, call forth mighty reinforcements, and let the light of [Carolingian Radiance] blaze once more across this battlefield shrouded in shadow.
